Get to Know Dalia
Dalia completed her MS in Nutritional Science at California State University, Long Beach and spent three years as a community health worker in the field of community nutrition โ conducting grocery tours and cooking demonstrations for local families and providing education to families with overweight children. For the past four years, she has worked as a degreed nutritionist at Antelope Valley Hospital's WIC program, offering nutrition instruction and presentations. Her background is rooted in meeting people where they are.
This work resonates with Dalia personally. Many of her close friends and relatives live with long-term conditions like diabetes. Working at Gojji has given her the tools to help not just the patients on her caseload, but the people closest to her โ and to close the gap for patients who receive little or no meaningful dietary education through the standard healthcare system.
Dalia's two passions outside of work are crocheting and international travel. One keeps her hands busy and her mind calm; the other feeds her curiosity about different cultures, cuisines, and ways of living โ which often finds its way into how she connects with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Training & Credentials
Your Care with Dalia
Your first session with Dalia is a real conversation โ not a generic handout. She'll learn about your diet, your daily routine, your cultural food preferences, and what changes have already been hard. Nothing is off the table.
Together, you'll build one simple, achievable goal tailored to your specific condition and your real life โ something you can actually follow between now and your next session.
Most patients don't realize that a Gojji nutritionist can offer you practical dietary guidance tailored to your culture and your meals. Dalia focuses on helping you balance proteins and carbohydrates at each meal and snack using foods that are already familiar to you โ not a foreign meal plan that doesn't reflect how you actually eat.
For Dalia, success looks like a patient realizing they're making real progress toward blood glucose stabilization โ and feeling the joy and relief that comes with it. When patients report feeling less frustrated and less powerless, and say that their quality of life is actually getting better, that is everything.
