My goal for you isn't perfection. It's making sure you have support to stay as healthy as possible.
Get to Know Jose
Jose graduated from WesternU with his PharmD in 2023 and completed a community-based residency with training in both ambulatory care and community pharmacy. Much of his work has been with underserved patient populations โ including those experiencing homelessness โ helping bridge gaps in access to care. He has also worked in IV home infusion, but ambulatory care and chronic disease management is where he has found his real passion: working closely with patients to help them manage their conditions and navigate the healthcare system.
What drew Jose to chronic disease management was seeing how many patients fall through the cracks โ especially in underserved communities, where clinic visits are short and focused on the immediate problem. Patients with diabetes or hypertension don't always get the ongoing support they need to manage their health day to day. He wanted to work somewhere with time to build real relationships, answer real questions, and help patients feel like someone is truly in their corner. Gojji makes that possible.
Jose has always been physically active โ running, hiking, and staying on the move. His family knows him for it. He sees it as a way to recharge, and he believes that same energy and focus shows up in how he works with patients.
Training & Credentials
Your Care with Jose
Your first session with Dr. is a dedicated, unhurried conversation โ not a quick check-in. Together you'll review your complete medication list, your lab results, your daily readings, and any concerns you haven't had time to address with your provider.
This is time reserved specifically for you. Nothing is too small or too basic to bring up.
Most patients don't realize that a Gojji pharmacist can actually be part of your care team โ not just a one-time reviewer, but someone who helps you manage your medications and chronic conditions over time, so that care keeps moving forward between your doctor visits.
When a session goes really well, the biggest change is that the patient no longer feels like they're managing their condition alone. They start to trust that they have someone they can turn to with questions and concerns โ and that relationship makes it possible to take real, practical steps forward together.
