Get to Know Rachel
Rachel's journey with Gojji started before she even had her credentials โ her 9-month dietetic internship included a rotation right here at Gojji. After completing her internship and passing her registration exam, she realized this was exactly where she wanted to build her career. Over the past 4 years, she has focused on patients managing diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and weight-related conditions โ developing a deep understanding of how lasting nutrition changes actually happen in real people's lives.
The standard of care frustrated Rachel. A 3, 6, or 12-month follow-up means a provider sees one reading โ and that reading rarely tells the whole story. She wanted to be in the space where she could see numbers change in real time, over a care plan she built with her patient just weeks earlier. 'Being able to see how a patient's numbers have dropped over a care plan we created just a few weeks prior is so exciting,' she says. She chose Gojji to focus on what comes before the emergency.
Rachel has owned just about every farm animal besides horses and cows โ chickens, turkeys, guinea fowls, goats, and ducks. Although the farm is on pause for now, her family currently cares for 7 rescue cats and 3 rescue dogs. 'We're animal people,' she says, with no apologies.
Training & Credentials
Your Care with Rachel
Your first session with Rachel is a real conversation โ not a generic handout. She'll learn about your diet, your daily routine, your cultural food preferences, and what changes have already been hard. Nothing is off the table.
Together, you'll build one simple, achievable goal tailored to your specific condition and your real life โ something you can actually follow between now and your next session.
Most patients don't realize that a Gojji registered dietitian can improve your eating habits AND lower your grocery bill at the same time. Each goal is tailored to your individual diet and made simple enough that you don't feel overwhelmed โ follow-ups every two weeks give you time to practice the change before building on it.
Rachel measures a successful session by how her patient feels at the end. Are they excited to try the next goal? Do they feel empowered to achieve it? Do they feel safe enough to ask the hard questions? She wants every patient to leave feeling like they have all the tools they need to tackle their next goal with confidence.
The Partnership
What Rachel Asks of You
The most important thing Rachel needs from her patients is trust. When patients trust that she has their best interest at heart and will do everything within her power to help them succeed, the results follow. Trust creates the honesty and open communication that makes real change possible.
What Rachel Promises in Return
In return, Rachel will always listen to your concerns without judgment and find realistic solutions to whatever comes up โ no shame, no lecture, no one-size-fits-all plan.
